NEWS FLASH!!
Change to Bondi Junction Village Markets

Due to popular demand we have made a few tweaks to the Bondi Junction Village Markets.  We'll be incorporating food into our Friday Artisans Market; and incorporating our wonderful artisans into our Saturday Food & Farmers' Market.  So the market days will look like this:

Thursday: Food & Farmers' Market: 9am - 5pm

Friday: Artisans, Food & Farmers Market: 9am - 5pm (winter)

Friday (from 17 September): Global Food Market: 5pm - 9pm

Saturday: Artisans, Food & Farmers' Market: 9am - 5pm

Our wonderful stallholders won't be changing, but the good news is that we'll be adding to our happy family, who include the following:

Peter Kuruvita, 'celebrity chef' from Flying Fish restaurant, who will be supplying gorgeous Sri Lankan food from his kitchen for a hot food stall at our Food & Farmers' markets;

Nadine Ingram from Cookie Couture who'll be offering up gingerbread goodies, macaroons, tarts, slices & the most incredible cakes. Nadine is a star in her own right, having trained under luminary Michel Roux in London.  Wow! Her baked treats are to be tasted to be believed;

Roche Bros Fruit from Adelong, Mountainview Produce from Richmond and Rita's Farm Produce from Kemps Creek selling freshly picked fruit & veg, bursting with vitamins, minerals and flavour;

Brasserie Bread, straight from their world-famous baked goods oasis in Banksmeadow near Botany, will be showcasing their artisan bread and patisserie items;

Meat producer Oaklands Produce, a member of the Angus Society, with their free-range, grass-fed beef, goat and rabbit and free range poulty from nearby producers;

Jams & condiments from Doolans Country Jams, such as passionfruit & tomato jam (don't knock it til you've tried it);

Healthy Feast who have an amazing array of dairy-free, wheat-free and gluten-free pies, pastries and goodies;

The gorgeous girls from Rasa Rosa, with their exotic & delicious Malaysian sweets;

Fresh Hot Smoked who smoke beautiful Tassie salmon the day before the market. You will never eat commercial smoked salmon again after you try this.

And of course many other surprises and delights to tempt you!
If you think you're as impressive as the above stallholders and are interested in joining this fabulous bunch of artisan producers click here to use our online application form for the Bondi Junction Village Markets.

Welcome to the Your Local Markets community – a place to get excited about beautiful, quality markets and find out a bit more about us, our markets, our stallholders and other issues related to fresh food, quality local products and design.

Currently we run two Food & Farmers' Markets on the Gold Coast in Queensland and we're in the process of expanding into New South Wales (see above!).

We're also in discussions to host some other types of Markets, such as Artisans Markets and twilight Global Food Markets, so visit our website regularly so that you keep up to date on what's happening.

Or.... join us on Facebook and Twitter.

We’re interested in connecting with you – whether it be in person at our markets, via our email newsletter, or on our Facebook page and Twitter - we’re genuinely interested in hearing your views on our markets, food issues, food security, issues of sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint, or ideas on how you think we can improve what we do.

So please, connect with us and share your thoughts. And we’ll share ours too.

Check out all the fantastic produce, straight from the farm at our Turf Club Markets that featured recently on Huey's Cooking Adventures!

Have a gander at our blog
